I'm Not This Strong

Hey all... just wanted to say that my brother was killed in a motorcycle accident last night. He was only 18
My heart hurts so bad..... please pray for my family and my parents especially- burying an 18 year old son is never in our plans.

I had an awful travel experience on Thursday. I'd love to go into details, but I don't want to relive it either. Basically I sat in the airport from 7:30 am to 10 pm (minus a couple of hours)- unable to to ANYWHERE. Not only could I not get where I wanted to go, but I couldn't go home either. It was the worst feeling ever. My fabulous Brinnie and Dave made it a little better, and I will forever be grateful!



Here's to better times that were had in Portland!!! (and Amy, next time I come, let's hang out!!)

Today has been A DAY. Gosh...

I had to do something really crappy today. At the sake of protecting the kids in my care, I had to turn in a friend. Turn AGAINST a friend. It feels awful and I wish I could take it all back. I came home and cried and never want to go back. I think it's the worst feeling in the world..

I feel like everyone hates me today. Theres ^ that. Plus a friend that months previous I would've called a 'best friend' now discludes me from her life. Her baby-to-be is a girl and I had to find out through the grape vine (a few months ago, she would've called me the minute she found out), and she has also named the little girl and casually reffered to her by name in an email today. That's big news! I haven't seen her since early january and she seems unconcerned despite my constant attempts to make contact and catch up. I offered to throw her a baby shower and she says "I think I'm okay."

I feel so hated and scorned. Husband reminds me that when we uphold integrity, people won't like us. Christ said so lots and lots of years ago.

PS- I am feeling better.. finally! At the moment I've kicked every illness that came my way. Thank you for all the concern! That always makes me happy
And this weekend I go to Portland!!! yippee!!!!
