There's been another high school shooting in our town today. (Remember the Columbine High school shooting of 99?)
Completely different than the last though.... An adult man was the shooter- one girl was shot and died :(
He had her hostage for 4 hours and then shot her and himself. So sad!
I've been sick to my stomach all day, watching the coverage.
She died 30 minutes after being shot, but they didn't report that until 2 1/2 hours had past.
Why does this happen? High schoolers! So sad....

it's a beautiful ride
I'm still alive.. I promise
Life is stressful right now. Tony has been waiting almost 2 weeks to hear from the job he interviewed for. In the meantime, I have 2 jobs that I'm waiting to agree to because I want to know his schedule first. Frustrating!
We drove up to the mountains this weekend to see the snow! Yay!! Snow! It was really fun... 4 inches of snow at our disposal to play in. And play, we did. We threw snowballs and made snow angels. Our first married snow! Pictures to come, soon......
I'm in a friends wedding in January and I finally got to hang out with her this weekend. For the first time since she got engaged. It was so refreshing! I forget how much I miss girls until I get some time with one. I miss having friends within reach!

I cut all my hair off this weekend! Ok, not all of it- but a good chunk. I LOVE it!!!! Everytime I see myself it makes me happy... it looks good wet, dry, gel, and no gel. It's easy and I absolutely love it!!!
Here's a before picture:
And a now picture!:

summery glow
I haven't had anything to blog about lately. But here's a funny story...
I bought a new razor right before I got married and it came with a trial size lotion that was supposed to give you a "summery glow". Well I was looking for lotion a couple days ago and found that and decided to give it a try. The whole rest of the day my hands smelled like when you use that orangey instant tanner stuff, and I had no idea why. The next morning I was getting dressed and my legs were covered in blotchy brown spots! I've finally figured it out... The lotion I used says on the back that it contains self tanner. Ah-ha! The way it gives you a summer glow is by turning your skin a strange brown hue!!! I have to say I'm impressed though.. it's a whole lot more brown than any other tanner I've seen women use. Unfortunetly I got a visual in how bad I am at spreading lotion evenly and for the next couple of days I have an ugly blotchy "summery glow". woohoo.
