you make me wanna be brave
Last night I drove back up to my old town and had dinner with Mary. After dinner went and stayed with another friend and 2 other of my favorite girls came to visit us. It was refreshing... I miss them! Also had my favorite ice cream!!
This morning I drove up to my new school for orientation. After 8 hours I understand the campus, have a student ID, and have a class schedule. It's a wonderful feeling. This planning a wedding thing has really taught me that things need to get done NOW. They can't wait until later because later there's something else that will need done.
I'm taking 4 classes- 2 of them are online. I refused any night classes. This hopefully means that I will have ample time to enjoy being a newlywed. I'm really excited to take my classes and be in school. It's a freeing feeling and I love it. I really like the campus and can't wait to start classes. I'm taking one called infant/toddler theory/practice that I'm paticularly excited for. I picked it out of the list as a must. I don't have monday classes which mainly means that when we get back from our honeymoon on sunday, I won't have to start school the very next day, which is excellent news.
In other news- my family is still screwed up. I won't go into detail (because I dont want to have to think about it), but my grandma is going into assisted living when she gets out of the hospital. Which should be in another week or so. We'll see. Oh and my other grandma apparently has a mass in her stomach. It's a membrane coverering her intestine and they don't know what it is.... so pray for her, please. My parents are still waiting for the break they were supposed to get when their youngest child graduated :)
oh, and my boobs look amazing in this shirt

Good choice on no night classes. I took one once and ended up not going to half of them. online courses are fine, but not for procrastinaters like me!! :) but it's nice to be able to "go to class" in your pajamas or whatever! sorry about your family too and i hope things get better and you receive the grace and strength to go through it all. Blessings as you continue to prepare for your wedding!
haha ~ that last sentance cracked me up. i love randomness.
i took an online class once. the trouble with it was that i kept forgetting about it. if it has weekly discussions, make sure you participate. i stopped doing so about half way through and my final mark reflected that!!!
